Images of war

Wars are inseparable from the history of many countries. But I have never seen a country that has experienced so many wars like Vietnam.

Since the creation of the first nation in the early years of Jesus Christ, Vietnam has never stopped making war to keep its independence.

Several were made successively against China, Mongolia, Thailand, Spain, Holland, Portugal....

Since the arrival of the troops of Napoleon III in 1858 until 1991, Vietnam was in war.
1858 - 1941: The French colonial war.
1941 -1945: The war against the Japanese.
1946 - 1954: The Indochina War against the French.
1955 - 1975: the war against the American army to unite the country.
1979 - 1989: The war against the Khmer Rouge in the South and in the North against the Chinese.
1991: Normalization of Chinese-Vietnamese relation to open the borderline.

A German journalist said, Vietnam is the land of poetry and war.
It is not wrong at all.

Millions of dead, millions of wounded, millions of mothers have lost children, millions of women lost their husbands, millions of families were separated...
Mine victims still exist.
Children are deformed because of dioxin.
The infrastructure, the economy has reduced to zero.
The socio-economic problems were enormous.
The economic embargo was imposed.
The encirclement of the big countries involved in the war as a kind of revenge.
Mistrust, misunderstandings rein.
.....
But this little country is still standing and his little people is indomitable.

I put some pictures of war to wish eternal peace to Vietnam and as to all countries on this planet.

I also put a minute of silence to think about the millions of soldiers succumbed in the front, millions of farmers killed  in muddy  rice field,  many innocent children burned by napalm, women violated... in  this country.

Children in a village,  burned by napalm:

Vietnam is the most bombarded country in the world: 47 millions tones of bombs in 50 millions inhabitants:

But his people is not afraid: Departure to the front:

Also women:
