Destination in North - East

North - East is the mountainous region inhabited by ethnic minorities such as: Tay, Nung, Dao, Giay, Hmong, Lo lo....
This region is known for its natural beauty, ethnic, historical ... but also by the lack of infrastructure: Road, hotel...
But those who want to discover Vietnam touristic region, the North - East is ideal:

1 - Dong Van - Meo Vac Géopark:

It is the largest karsts formation in South – East of Asia, dating back more than 500 million years old.
This formation reflects that of our Earth.
With these geological values, in 2010, UNESCO has classified the Dong Van – Meo Vac plateau, from 1000 to 1600 m altitude as Geopark or World Natural Heritage.






It is also the occasion t admire one of the nicest terrace rice fileds:

The Dong Van – Meo Vac plateau is the place of cohabitation of ethnic minorities. They are trying to preserve all their traditional cultural values:

Nung:

There are many extraordinary markets of ethnic groups in traditional costume: Dong Van market and Meo vac market (Sunday), Quyet Tien (Thursday)...

2 - Ban Gioc waterfall:
Located on the Vietnam-Chinese border, in a valley covered with rice fields, the waterfall Ban Gioc is greater in Vietnam:
The road take you to Ban Gioc , is zigzags between the limestone rocks,

3 - Ba Be lake:
Located in the North - East of Hanoi, about 6 hours drive, Ba Be is the largest tectonic lake of Vietnam.
The lake is surrounded by the National Park of the same name: Ba Be National Park:
