Gastronomy

Vietnam has a balanced and refined cuisine which is very world famous in the world. There are a thousand dishes throughout the country, changing  according to different regions.

This culinary culture based on rice, vegetables (cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber, water spinach, eggplant, cristophine, watercress, cabbage, cabbage - rave, beans, ...), fruit (orange, green dragon, rambutan , grapefruit, pineapple, mango, persimmon, banana, pear, passion fruit, mangosteen, apple - cinnamon, lychee, longan, durian, plum, star fruit, apple ...), seafood (fish, shrimp, shellfish, squid, slipper lobster cuttlefish, ...), meat (beef, pork, chicken, duck, goose, veal ....) spiced with herbs (basil, cilantro, Lolot, mint, chives, shallots ...) and with known spices (lemongrass, cinnamon, saffron, pepper, cardamom, ...)

The country has several kinds of sauces such as: soy sauce,  Nuoc mam  or fish sauces.

In the point of view of drinking, there are several kinds of beer, green tea, coffee, herbal teas ... especially rice alcohol is everywhere.

With globalization, there are also foreign products in the main cities: Wine, whiskey, Ricard, Vodka….

The Vietnamese do not eat a single dish. Each meal consists of rice accompanied by meat, vegetables, and fish ... with different recipes.
The Vietnamese meal has community element: Everybody shares the dishes together.
The dishes should create balance between body organs, between the body and the universe with the therapeutics goals.


Here are some famous dishes:

1: Pho: A kind of soup made ​​primarily for breakfast: Fresh pasta rice, onion, cilantro, beef or chicken ... meticulously prepared with stock boiled from the bones of pig, cow...:


2: Nem Cuon : Little like spring roll:

3: Nem: The whole of pork, chives, pepper, egg, meat crabe ... wrapped in rice paper and fried in oil:

 4: Fondue and Lau: There of the following food: Meat (beef, chicken), shrimp, clams, soy cheese, vegetables of different kinds, squid.... soaked in a sock carefully prepared with the bones of pig, beef: 

5: Banh Cuon: Rice paper rolls with mushrooms, minced pork …

6:Bun Reu: 
Rice noodle soup with fresh water crab

7: Vit quay: Roasted duck:

8: Nem Cong: Pheonix nem:

9: Cha que: Minced porc, boiled et fried
10: Xoi gac:
Glutinous rice cooked with the momordica juice:

11: Thit Kho tau: caramelized porc with coconut juice and egg:

12 : Bun Cha: Fresh pasta rice served with minced and grilled pork:

13: Cha Ca:
Fresh pasta rice served with grilled fish cut into small pieces, aroma herbs: Coriander, peanut, anise...

And and and there are thousands of others. You have to come to discover them.
