Houses in Vietnam

Here are different kinds of houses in Vietnam, in according to regions and to ethnic group:

1 – House on stilt:  The ethnic groups like: Tay, Thai, Nung…in the North live in house on stilt :



2 - Mud house: The Hmongethnic minority live in houses made ​​of mud, enclosed by dry stone wall:
 

 3 - House of tube:

The Viet living in the plain like to build houses along roads, highways.

They want the facade have view on the road to open shops of all kinds.

So, it’s more near to the road, the terrain is more expensive.

The best solution is the height and length: average: 4 m wide and 12 m long:




4 - Villa of colonial style: The rich person like to build big houses by copying the style of French colonial architecture.


5 - Floating House: The people in Mekong delta or next to major rivers, the fishermen living on floating houses:
